Kuala Lumpur Tower is the seventh tallest telecommunication tower in the world. The apex end of the tower consists of an antenna that touches a height of 1,381 feet. The rest of the tower is connected via a stairwell and an elevator. It encompasses interesting spaces such as the 276 meters high indoor KL Tower Observation Deck, the KL Tower Sky Box which is a glass-enclosed cube that is extended in the air, a mini zoo that nurtures a wide range of exotic animals for the visitors to feed and pet them and to keep the tourists entertained. The observation deck is one of the tallest skyscrapers in Malaysia to witness the entire cityscape of Kuala Lumpur. It also comprises of a revolving restaurant alongside the telecommunication and broadcasting stations. The tower was constructed in the year 1995 and since then it has been a major among the tourists as well as the locals.
